The Sonic Acts Biennial 2026 runs from 5 February to 29 March 2026 across Amsterdam, featuring over 80 events at 20 venues and showcasing work by more than 200 artists. This large-scale biennial programme encompasses concerts, listening sessions, a symposium, film screenings, exhibitions, masterclasses, workshops, and site-specific projects.

At its core is the main exhibition, ‘Melted for Love’, hosted across W139, Arti et Amicitiae, and Rozenstraat. The exhibition explores how the notion of ‘home’ is being renegotiated in the face of the climate crisis, colonial histories, and forced displacement. Featuring artist Diana Policarpo, the show brings together installations, films, sound works, and performances that reflect on how land, bodies, and ecosystems are shaped and altered by systems of exploitation. By listening to the echoes left behind, the exhibition highlights gestures of love and connection with land and community as vital forms of resistance and repair.
